Steven Senior Shoot

I've known Steven's family for many years now, they are one of the most well known families in our small town for there kindness, support, organizing events, and giving back to the community. Steven is a very polite young man who has his future all planned out...college and career. He is also an avid Angel Baseball fan which gave us a lot to talk about! I have been looking for a software program to post video slide shows on my blog that are more clean. Being that I'm not a technical computer girl I think I found what I was looking for. I am still working out the kinks, so here is a taste of the first video show using this new program! So take a look, push the play button and in a few seconds the show will begin.

Mike and Anita Wedding at Alta Vista Country Club

When Bill and I first met this couple we were photographing Anita's sisters wedding Loni and Phillip in Santa Barbara about a year and a half ago. I remember walking around the reception and noticed Mike and Anita laughing and having a great time. I told Bill these two have a connection. So it was with great happiness when Anita called me and asked us to photograph there special day a year later! Don't you just love when you see two people and just know that they were destined to be with each other? Anita has a wonderful son named Andrew and even though it had been just the two of them, Mike came into there lives and made them complete. The venue was held at the lovely http://www.altavistacc.com/ , with plush greenery everywhere and new renovation this place was stunning. I also had the pleasure of meeting the talented people of http://www.cinderellasflowers.com/ who delivered a beautiful array of flowers, your company had a lot of compliments from the wedding party of how gorgeous the flowers were. What a wonderful time we had to be part of another wedding that made us feel like family. Another special thanks to Nikki Evans for coming out on short notice to help assist.

Ryan

Ryan is Alexandra's big brother and a high school senior at Riverside Christian High School. With a gift from God, he has an amazing voice and talent playing the guitar. As he played familiar worship songs he entertained us as I photographed his sister. In between I was able to capture a few snap shots with him for his senior graduation invites.

Alexandra

A young, beautiful, sweet, and full of life young lady... is Alexandra of only 15 years of age. We went on a journey to say the least, but through it all she was a trooper. A big fan of America's Next Top Model she came out fiercely in front of my camera, watch out Tyra. Thank you Strobel family for allowing me to capture her beauty. Here are a few of my favorites from our day. Stay tuned of a few portraits of her brother who is a senior graduate this year.

Today I blog, tomorrow I celebrate with those little blessings! To my mom, my mother in law, and every special woman that is a mother Happy Mother's Day!

Prom 2009!

Prom! My sister is now a senior at Paloma Valley High, so it was only fitting that I would capture this special time. Like most traditions some tend to fade away, and with a group of friends we came together and did a non traditional prom photo shoot before they ventured off for the night of fun! These young adults were so much fun, kind, and modeled like pros in a windy situation! Thank you for being such a great group and I wish you all the best in what the future holds.
